Anathece Explained
Anathece is a genus of cyanobacteria belonging to the family Synechococcaceae.[1]
The genus was first described by Komárek and Anagnostidis in 2011 as Aphanothece subgenus Anathece.
The genus has cosmopolitan distribution.[2]
