Born to Be Bad is the seventh studio album by American blues rock George Thorogood and the Destroyers. It was released in February 1988 on the EMI America label. The album peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard 200, and was on the charts for 24 weeks.[1] [2]
EMI America released Born to Be Bad in February 1988. The album eventually sold more than 600,000 copies, making it one of the Destroyer`s best selling album.
Three tracks from the album were released as singles: "Born to Be Bad", which peaked at number 3 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.[3]
"Treat Her Right" is a cover of the Roy Head song of the same name, the single peaked at number 39 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. The song has an accompanying music video.[4]
"You Talk Too Much" peaked at number 4 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. The song also has an accompanying music video.[5]
