The Campeonato Pernambucano Série A2 is the second level of football tournaments for the Pernambucano state clubs that don't play in the Campeonato Pernambucano First Division. The competitions are organized by the Pernambucan Football Federation. Usually, the champions of a division are promoted in the next year to the immediately upper level.[1]
The 2024 Série A2 will be contested by 10 clubs. In the first stage, each team will play the other nine teams in a single round-robin tournament. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the 2025 Série A3.
The top two teams from the first stage will advance to the semi-finals, while the third through sixth teams will advance to the quarter-finals. The two finalists will be promoted to the 2025 Série A1.
