The Central District of Eqlid County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان اقلید) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Eqlid.[2]
History
After the 2006 National Census, Khosrow Shirin Rural District was separated from the county to join Abadeh County.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 65,798 in 13,783 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 56,805 people in 15,481 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 57,875 inhabitants in 17,150 households.[6]
