Donbaleh Rud-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان دنبالهرود شمالی) is in the Central District of Dezpart County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Deh Kian.[2]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as part of the former Dehdez District of Izeh County) was 5,360 in 1,000 households.[3] There were 3,865 inhabitants in 833 households at the following census of 2011.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,419 in 810 households. The most populous of its 58 villages was Posht Asiab, with 384 people.[5]
In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Dezpart County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Dehdez as its capital and only city. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[2]
