Gvachvene sheni khma (Georgian: გვაჩვენე შენი ხმა|italics=yes; English: Show us your voice!|italics=yes) is a (country of) Georgian television mystery music game show based on the South Korean programme I Can See Your Voice. It premiered on Rustavi 2 as a pilot episode on 9 May 2023.[1]
Presented with a group of six "mystery singers" identified only by their occupation, a guest artist and contestant(s) must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of three rounds. At the end of the game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.
If the singer is good, the contestant(s) win ₾3,000; if the singer is bad, the same amount is given to the bad singer instead.
Each episode presents the guest artist and contestant(s) with six people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.
A news article from iMBC eNews first reported mentioning (the country of) Georgia to have a local adaptation of I Can See Your Voice, at the time of preparing for its recently aired (South Korean) tenth season in February 2023;[2] [3] this was subsequently confirmed by Rustavi Broadcasting Company in September 2023.[4] [5]
The show's title Gvachvene sheni khma (Georgian: გვაჩვენე შენი ხმა|italics=yes)[4] [5] comes from Show us your voice!, which is a direct English translation of the German title German: Zeig uns Deine Stimme!, for the third season of German counterpart.[6] [7] Also in the pilot episode, it was originally titled Machvene sheni khma (Georgian: მაჩვენე შენი ხმა|italics=yes)[1] from a locally direct translation of its French counterpart Show Me Your Voice.[8] [9]
