In His Steps is a 1936 American drama film directed by Karl Brown and starring Eric Linden, Cecilia Parker and Harry Beresford.[1] It was distributed by the recently formed Grand National Pictures. The film's sets were designed by the art director Edward C. Jewell. It was based on the 1896 novel In His Steps by Charles Sheldon, which had previously been adapted into the silent film The Martyrdom of Philip Strong.[2]
