Independence Speed Tandem Explained

Independence Speed Tandem is a German single-place,
paraglider that was designed by Michaël Nesler and produced by
Independence Paragliding of
Eisenberg, Thuringia. It is now out of production.

The Speed Tandem was designed as a tandem glider for flight training.
The aircraft's 14.91NaN1 span wing has 48 cells, a wing area of 40.6m2 and an aspect ratio of 5.4:1. The pilot weight range is 140to. The glider is DHV 1-2 certified.
Company test pilot Christian Amon was also involved in the development as well as flight testing of the Speed Tandem.[1]
