Jeremiyah Love is an American football running back for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Love attended high school at Christian Brothers Collegelocated in St. Louis, Missouri. In Love's junior season, he rushed 95 times for 996 yards and 14 touchdowns, while also notching 11 receptions for 103 yards.[1] During Love's senior season he tallied 1,291 yards and 22 touchdowns on 140 carries, while also hauling in 13 receptions for 370 yards and five touchdowns.[2] Coming out of high school, Love was rated as a four-star recruit, and as high as the 59th best player, and the 4th best running back in the class of 2023.[3] Additionally, Love held offers from schools such as Alabama, Auburn Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Utah, USC, and Washington.[4] Ultimately, Love decided to commit to play college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.[5] [6]
In week one of the 2023 season, Love rushed for his first career touchdown on a 36-yard run in a win over Tennessee State.[7] Love finished his first collegiate season in 2023 rushing 71 times for 385 yards and a touchdown, while also bringing in eight receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown.[8] [9] Heading into the 2024 season, Love entered the year as the starting running back for the Fighting Irish.[10]
