Krokowo is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kozłowo, within Nidzica County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It is located in Masuria. It lies approximately 9km (06miles) south-east of Kozłowo, 130NaN0 south of Nidzica, and 600NaN0 south of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The village was first mentioned either in 1371[2] or 1391.[3] As of 1542, the population of the village was exclusively Polish.[2] [3]
During World War II, in March 1944, Polish partisans from the Home Army killed two German soldiers in the village.[4]
