Oram [2] is a village and townland in County Monaghan, Ireland. The village is on the R182 road, about 5km (03miles) north-east of Castleblayney. The village population was 186 at the 2016 census.[1]
Oram's Catholic church, St Patrick's, was built in the 1820s and 1830s.[3] The local Gaelic games club is Oram Sarsfields.[4] The musician Big Tom McBride was from Oram.[5]
